This is a valuable opportunity for researchers and practitioners who wish to:

  • During the IFOSS registration process, submit an abstract, a research idea, preliminary results, or an ongoing project to be presented during the IFOSS poster session. The presented work can then be further extended and developed into a full manuscript for submission to the Special Issue.
  • Receive direct feedback from the Special Issue editorial team and the IFOSS community.
  • Discuss potential extensions, methodological improvements, and future research directions before entering the formal journal submission and peer-review process.

📅 Special Issue Timeline

The official submission opening date and manuscript deadline will be announced shortly. The submission system is expected to open around mid-July 2026 (official dates coming soon).
