Biography
Angela Procaccino is a full professor of Criminal Procedural Law in the Department of Law at the University of Foggia.
She holds a PhD in Domestic, International, and Comparative Criminal Law and Criminal Procedural Law and is a registered lawyer.
She has taught master’s and doctoral programs at various universities, at the Scuola Superiore della Magistratura, the Bar Councils, and in training courses for the State Police and the Carabinieri. In 2022, she was appointed to the examining commission for the competitive examination for the position of ordinary magistrate.
She is the author of articles, encyclopedic entries, contributions to volumes and notes on court decisions, and of the monographs “Il negozio probatorio dibattimentale” (Milan, 2010), “I bis in idem tra diritti individuali e discretionalmente del sistema. Il doppio processo come pena” (Padua, 2022), and “Soft law and criminal justice. Interpretation, preparation of the law, distribution of powers” (Padua, 2023).
